This exceptional rare white tea is made from very small buds picked during early spring, before the buds have opened and once they have been steamed and dried they look like an abundance of small white blossoms with tiny leaves, this is where the name comes from meaning, 'White Peony'.
Pai Mu Tan has a pale yellow cup colour, it is low in caffeine and has a mild yet subtly sweet taste.
