Pu-Ehr tea is well known for its supposed medicinal qualities including overall health and long life. It is believed that pu-erh aids in digestion, may help decrease cholesterol as well as lower fat content in the blood stream.
A tea with an 'elemental', earthy flavour and aroma and a dark reddish-brown cup colour. Pu-Erh An Bao, like wine, is the only tea that gains character through ageing.

"I ordered this tea for my father who has been drinking Pu Erh tea for over 50 years and has experience with a wide range of grades of Pu Erh. He is pleased with the quality of the tea in terms of flavour and texture. It's smooth on the tongue, indicating that the fermentation process was done properly and hence very little tanins remain. £4.70/100g is fair pricing too, for this is what we expect to pay for this grade of Pu Erh tea in the Far East (+ VAT). Highly recommended for anyone who would like to give Pu Erh a try. :-)"
