China Sweet Osmanthus

A delicate and mild green tea with silvery buds is blended with naturally sweet Osmanthus blossoms to create this fragrant cup.

The traditional history of its production which has hardly changed over time is based on a small-leaf green tea which is mixed with still damp osmanthus blossoms
Unlike jasmine tea it is not sieved to remove the blossoms. These take on the colour of honey during the drying process giving the infusion a mild and fruity bouquet

The honey-yellow cup colour attracts temptingly with a mellow slightly fruity taste and a spice note of honey

An interesting alternative to jasmine tea

Use one slightly heaped teaspoon per cup. Brew for 1 - 3 minutes
