Semi fermented tea
This perfectly black produced Oolong comes from the Wanjia tea garden in the Chinese province of Anhui. The sweet, honey like cup is caused by cicada insects that nibble the leaves causing some oxidation of the leaves while they are still growing on the plant. This effect leads to the delicious taste that reminds of ripe fruit, chocolate and roasted pine nuts.
